However, this action may will be caused some errors on DTU configuration and normally performance for the customers, who have bought our DTU. Therefore, we would like to suggest the customers who have bought our DTU to upgrading the firmware all by themselves. Hereby is our instruction on how to upgrade the RTU firmware. 1) DTU Cable Connection Please connect DTU to PC with RS232 serial port, before upgrading the firmware. Select COM: The default COM1 refers to the port connect from RS232 serial prot to PC; If USB forwarder to RS232 be used, the relative COM number can be checked like this: right click “My Computer”-----> “device management”------> “interface (COM & LPT)”. 5. Failed to open “COM” The COM is occupied by the other software program if there is a ball window with “Access Denied” when you click “Open”. In this case, please to close the COM on the other software first, and try to open it again. 2. Cycle upgrading firmware Please ensure to power of the current DTU when the page dispaly “下载完成！APP 文件下载成功！” timely. Otherwise, the DTU will be cycle upgrading firmware within 10 seconds!!
